Composite valve and universal handle

The valves of the DS-series are made of glass fiber reinforced composite materials. Metal inlets additionally reinforce the fitting. The cap nut is made of brass. The new design of this series of valves enables the fire extinguishers to have a lower overall height. Thanks to the extra large, ergonomic handle, the fire extinguisher can be easily carried over a long period of time. A non-rotating safety device enables the fire extinguisher to be operated even faster and also has a rotating extinguishing pistol.

The DÖKA cartridge operated water fire extinguishers of the DS-series with internal propellant cartridge. The fire extinguisher is only put under operating pressure after pulling the securing and depressing the push button when it is in use. This ensures a high level of operational reliability, saves material and minimizes maintenance costs.

Aqueous solution

The extinguishing effect is based on the heat binding capacity (heat capacity) of the water. The seat of the fire is cooled down considerably and the combustion is stopped. The extinguishing agent consists of water with and the addition of highly effective additives. As a result, our water fire extinguishers achieve excellent ratings in fire class A. The extinguishing agent is completely free of PFOS and PFOA.
