The DÖKA cartridge operated fire extinguishers of the BS series are equipped with a high-quality push button valve and cap nut made of nickel-plated brass. In addition to the standard, the BS series is also equipped with an additional pressure relief valve with a brass body, which protects the cylinder from excess pressure. The generous dimensioning of the safety device and strike button enables the fire extinguisher to be operated with gloves. The ergonomic handle with finger recesses and slip protection offers excellent carrying comfort. The rotating extinguishing pistol enables optimal control of the extinguishing agent jet and the operation of the fire extinguisher with just one hand.

The DÖKA cartridge operated foam fire extinguishers of the BS-series with internal propellant cartridge. The fire extinguisher is only put under operating pressure after pulling the securing and depressing the push button when it is in use. This ensures a high level of operational reliability, saves material and minimizes maintenance costs.

Foam in concentrate cartridge

Thanks to optimized extinguishing agent additives, our foam cartridge fire extinguishers achieve ratings that could otherwise only be achieved with powder fire extinguishers, and that in fire classes A and B. Thanks to new formulations of the extinguishing agent concentrates, only the smallest amounts of foam concentrate are required. Because it is kept in the cartridge, the foam concentrate not only lasts for years, but these small amounts of extinguishing agent can also be disposed of easily and in an environmentally friendly manner after the end of its useful life.

Extinguishing agent - Polyvalent

The special foaming agent is suitable for flammable, water-miscible (polar) liquids. It contains foaming agents and additives that form a stable polymer film on foam-destroying solvents.

Carbon dioxide

Carbon dioxide (CO2) is a colorless and odorless gas. It is about 1.5 times heavier than air and is contained in the air we breathe. It is popularly called carbonic acid and it is used for many other applications. The extinguishing effect of carbon dioxide is based on the sticking effect.

Residue-free

After extinguishing, carbon dioxide leaves no extinguishing agent residues, it evaporates completely without leaving any residues.
